About this course

Project management has changed: most modern teams run on Agile, and Scrum is the framework you're expected to know. This course teaches you to actually lead projects that way — not just recite definitions — whether you're moving into a PM or Scrum Master role or need to run projects in your current job. You'll start with the Agile mindset and *why* it works, so the practices make sense rather than feeling like ritual. Then you'll learn Scrum in depth: the roles, the events, and the artifacts, and how to facilitate each so they add value instead of becoming box-ticking. You'll write and prioritise a real backlog with clear user stories, run sprint planning through to retrospectives, and handle the human side — stakeholders, scope, and risk — without crushing the team's momentum. You'll also work in Jira and with boards, the tools these teams live in, plus a look at Kanban for flow-based work. No prior PM experience is needed. By the end you'll be ready to help run — or lead — an Agile team with confidence.
